1. Acceptance of Terms

By clicking "Pay Now" or creating an account, you enter into a legally binding contract. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. User Responsibilities & Account Security

• Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that account numbers, policy numbers, and payment amounts are entered correctly. We are not liable for payments applied to incorrect accounts due to user error.
• Security: You must maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity under your account is your legal responsibility.
• Authorized Use: You represent that you are the lawful owner or authorized user of any payment method (Credit Card/Bank Account) used on this site.

3. Payment Processing & Timelines

• Processing Time: While most payments are processed instantly, some utility providers may take 2–3 business days to reflect the credit.
• Cut-off Times: Payments made after 5:00 PM IST may be processed on the next business day.
• Insurance Lapses: We are a payment facilitator. We are NOT responsible for the lapse of insurance coverage or utility disconnection if a payment is made too close to a deadline or is declined by your bank.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

Our platform connects with third-party insurers and utility companies. You acknowledge that:

• The service provider’s own terms also apply to your subscription/policy.
• We do not control the billing cycles or late fee structures of your utility or insurance companies.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, www.billpay.webecart.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of insurance coverage due to payment failure.
• Utility service interruptions or late penalties.
• System outages or technical "server slow-downs" beyond our reasonable control.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use this platform for money laundering, unauthorized "scraping" of data, or attempting to bypass security protocols. We reserve the right to terminate accounts suspected of fraudulent activity without notice.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Karntaka/India. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Bengaluru /Karnatka.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or technology. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
